Why choose the Ashley Korestone Lift-Top Coffee Table T679-9?
Designed for a larger seating area, the Ashley Korestone T679-9 gives you a broad 56-inch surface along with storage, mobility and a raised work area. The center section lifts to 27.25 inches high for occasional meals, laptop use or other sofa-based tasks, while two concealed bins beneath the top keep smaller items tucked away. What kind of living room works best with the Ashley Korestone T679-9?

At 56" wide × 27.5" deep, the Korestone is better suited to a medium-to-large living room, wide sofa or sectional than to a tight apartment layout. For everyday placement, leaving roughly 14–18 inches between the table and sofa provides a useful balance between reach and circulation, following our coffee-table clearance and walkway guidance. Raising the center top increases the overall depth to 38.25 inches, so that extra movement toward the sofa should be included in the room plan. Our coffee-table decision guide can help when comparing this wider format with your seating arrangement.

What makes the Korestone T679-9 useful for shared sofa seating?

Its 56-inch width gives the Korestone a generous shared surface in front of a longer sofa or sectional, while the center lift section creates a raised area for occasional work, meals or games. The lift top rises from 19.25 inches to 27.25 inches high, bringing part of the table closer to the seated user without converting the entire top. That mix of normal coffee-table space and a raised functional surface highlights how lift-top and standard coffee tables differ in everyday use.

Where can you store items in the Ashley Korestone T679-9?

Smaller belongings can be placed in two concealed bins beneath the top, each measuring 9" W × 24.88" D × 2.5" H. Below them, the large open shelf measures 42.38" W × 27.5" D × 9.25" H and provides easy-access space for books, baskets, games or decorative pieces. Combining hidden bins with a broad lower shelf gives the Korestone both clutter-control storage and open display space in the same table.
