Returns & Order Cancellations

VBU Furniture | Hassle-Free Returns, Clear Refunds & Transparent Cancellations

At VBU Furniture, we are committed to providing a simple, transparent, and reliable shopping experience. This Returns & Order Cancellations Policy explains how we handle returns, refunds, cancellations, delivery issues, and RMA requests.


Return Eligibility (30-Day Return Policy)

Customers may request a return within 30 days of delivery if the item meets the following conditions:

- Unused

- Unassembled

- In original packaging

- In clean, resellable condition

- A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) has been issued

To start a return, email support@vbufurniture.com with your order number, photos, and return reason.


Items Not Eligible for Return

For safety, hygiene, and supplier restrictions, the following products cannot be returned:

- Custom or special-order items

- Mattresses, bedding, and linens

- Individual sectional components

- Electrical parts, chargers, and power packs

- Items listed as Final Sale

- Items used, assembled, stained, or damaged after delivery

- Items without original packaging


Return Shipping & Delivery Responsibility

- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

- Freight pickup costs average ~ $2.50/lb (estimate).

- Original delivery fees are non-refundable.

- If delivery is refused due to access issues, incorrect measurements, or entry limitations, your order will be treated as a standard return.


Restocking Fees & Additional Charges

The following fees apply to approved returns:

- 30% restocking fee

- Return shipping cost

Additional charges may apply if:

- Packaging is missing

- Hardware or parts are missing

- Delivery was refused without cause

- Incorrect address prevented delivery


Refund Amounts & Processing Timeline

Before Shipment:

- Cancel within 24 hours: 100% refund (if shipment processing hasn’t begun).

- After 24 hours: 3% payment processing fee may apply.

- If VBU Furniture is unable to meet the estimated delivery date and you wish to cancel before shipping, you will receive a full refund.

- Once shipping begins, standard return policies apply.


After Shipment:

Refund = Item price – restocking fee – return shipping cost


Refund Timeline:

- Refunds are processed 5–10 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item.

- Banks may require 3–7 additional business days to post the credit.


When Refunds Cannot Be Issued

Refunds will not be issued if:

- The item was used, assembled, or altered

- The return request is made after 30 days

- Packaging is missing or incomplete

- The product is damaged by the customer (not carrier-related)

- The product is part of the non-returnable items list


Return of Merchandise After Refund or Chargeback

- If a refund or chargeback is completed, the item must be made available for pickup.

- Customers must cooperate with our logistics team for retrieval.

- If the item is not returned, VBU may recharge the payment method in accordance with order terms.
