Why choose the Ashley Loyaska Lift-Top Coffee Table T854-9?
Natural white marble accents are what immediately set the Ashley Loyaska T854-9 apart from typical all-wood lift-top tables. The grayish brown wood-tone finish and marble details create a relaxed mixed-material look, while the lift top adds a practical surface for occasional laptop work, meals or other sofa-based activities. Beneath the tabletop, a spacious open shelf provides room for books, baskets or display pieces, and casters make the 164-pound table easier to move when the layout needs to change. At more than 56 inches wide, the Loyaska is best suited to a larger seating area where its broad surface can serve a long sofa or sectional.

What size living room is a good fit for the Ashley Loyaska T854-9?
Measuring 56.13" W × 28.25" D, the Loyaska is better matched to a medium-to-large living room, longer sofa or sectional than to a tight apartment layout. For normal coffee-table placement, about 14–18 inches between the table and sofa is a useful starting point for reach and circulation, as discussed in our
coffee-table clearance and walkway guide.
When raised, the top increases the table's overall depth to 38.75 inches, so that forward movement should also be included in the room plan. Our
coffee-table decision guide
provides additional context for matching table proportions to the surrounding seating.
What does the lift top add to the Loyaska T854-9?
In its normal position, the tabletop sits 18.13 inches high. Raising it brings the working surface to 26.25 inches and closer to the seated user, making occasional meals, laptop use or paperwork more convenient from the sofa. That change in height and reach is a central advantage when
weighing a lift-top coffee table against a standard fixed-height design.
How comfortable the raised position feels will depend on your sofa's seat height, depth and placement.
Does the Ashley Loyaska T854-9 have storage?
The Loyaska uses open rather than drawer-based storage. Its lower opening measures 47.5" W × 27" D × 10" H, creating a broad shelf for baskets, books, magazines or decorative pieces. No drawer or concealed storage bin is listed for this model, so its storage strength is easy-access shelf space rather than hidden organization.
