Why choose the Ashley Bolanburg Lift-Top Coffee Table T637-20?
The Ashley Bolanburg T637-20 combines farmhouse styling with several practical functions in one piece. Its spring-lift top rises to 28.75 inches high and moves closer to the sofa for occasional laptop work, meals or other seated activities, while four smooth-gliding drawers provide substantial enclosed storage. Casters make the table easier to reposition when the room layout changes or more floor space is needed. A textured antiqued white finish and contrasting wood-tone top give the table its recognizable two-tone Bolanburg look, making it a strong choice for buyers who want storage, mobility and a raised work surface without moving to a large square coffee table.

How much room does the Ashley Bolanburg T637-20 need in front of a sofa?

The Bolanburg measures 46" W × 26" D when closed, so it has a moderate rectangular footprint. A practical starting point is to leave about 14–18 inches between the coffee table and sofa for comfortable reach and circulation, as explained in our coffee-table clearance and walkway guide. When the lift top is raised, the total depth increases to 37.75 inches, so also make sure there is enough space for the surface to move toward the seated user. The casters make repositioning the table easier when you need to adjust clearance or open up the room.

Can the Bolanburg T637-20 be used for working or eating from the sofa?

Yes, for occasional sofa-based work, meals or similar seated activities. The spring-lift mechanism raises the tabletop from 19.38 inches to 28.75 inches high and brings the surface closer to the user. That change in both height and reach is one of the main practical differences when comparing a lift-top with a standard coffee table. Comfort will still depend on your sofa seat height, seat depth and how the table is positioned.

What storage does the Ashley Bolanburg T637-20 provide?

The Bolanburg provides four smooth-gliding drawers plus an opening beneath the lift-top section. The two larger front drawers measure 17.38" W × 16.5" D × 6.5" H, giving them useful depth for larger living-room items, while the two side drawers measure 17.38" W × 8.5" D × 3.75" H for smaller items such as remotes, chargers or notebooks. The lift-top opening measures 19.75" W × 19.38" D × 5.88" H. Together, these storage areas make the table useful for keeping frequently used items organized while preserving the tabletop for everyday use.
