Returns & Order Cancellations

At VBU Furniture, we strive to make your experience simple, transparent, and worry-free.
Please review the following policy to understand how cancellations, returns, and refunds are handled.

1. Order Confirmation & Payment

  • Once your order is placed, a VBU team member will contact you to confirm order details and verify accuracy.
  • Your payment will be processed after confirmation or automatically within 48 hours of purchase, whichever comes first.

2. Cancelling an Order

We understand that plans may change — here’s how we handle cancellations:

Timeframe

  • Orders can be cancelled within 48 hours of purchase by emailing support@vbufurniture.com.

Refunds

  • Within 24 hours: 100% refund (unless the item has entered the warehouse or shipping process).
  • After 24 hours: 3% payment processing fee applies.
  • If product is ready for delivery or in transit: 70% refund (delivery fees are non-refundable).
  • If product has not shipped: 97% refund (if payment captured) or full refund (if payment not captured).
  • If the order has already shipped, a 30% restocking fee and return shipping costs will apply.

Merchant Delays

  • If VBU cannot meet the estimated delivery date:
    • Full refund (minus 3%) if the item has not yet shipped.
    • 30% fee applies if the item is already en route.

Refund Method

  • All refunds are issued to the original payment method.
  • Processing time may vary by bank or payment provider.

3. Ownership & Return Responsibility

  • If a refund or chargeback is processed, ownership of the merchandise reverts to VBU Furniture.
  • Customers must return products in their original condition and cooperate with our logistics team for pickup.
  • Failure to return merchandise may result in collection or legal action.

4. Returns & Exchanges

If you’re not fully satisfied with your purchase, eligible items may be returned within 30 days of delivery.

To Qualify for a Return

  • Request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) by emailing support@vbufurniture.com.
  • Items must be unused, unassembled, and returned in original packaging.
  • Returns must be initiated within 30 days and received within 20 days of RMA approval.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Final sale or custom/special orders
  • Mattresses, bedding, and linens
  • Individual sectional components
  • Cordless power packs or electrical parts

Fees & Costs

  • Restocking Fee: 30% of the product price
  • Return Shipping: Customer’s responsibility (pickup service available for approx. $2.50/lb)
  • Additional Charges: May apply for missing parts, refused deliveries, or incorrect addresses

Refund Process

  • Once your returned item is received and inspected, eligible refunds will be processed minus applicable fees.
  • Refund timing depends on your payment provider.

5. When Full Refunds Are Not Possible

Full refunds will not be issued if:

  • The product has been used, assembled, or altered
  • Original packaging or RMA label is missing
  • Damage occurred in transit (claims must be filed with the carrier)
