Why choose the Ashley Navi Queen Sofa Sleeper 9400439?
Warm Fossil faux leather gives the Ashley Navi 9400439 a leather-like look without presenting it as genuine leather, while the clean-lined silhouette keeps the overall style modern and easy to coordinate. The sofa offers 69 inches of seating space between the arms and a balanced 22-inch seat depth for everyday use. When guest space is needed, a separate 60" × 72" memory foam mattress folds out over a supportive steel frame. Fossil is the featured color, with Smoke also available.

What room depth is needed for the Ashley Navi 9400439 when the sleeper is open?

The Navi is 38 inches deep in sofa form, but the distance from the outside back to the end of the opened sleeper is 91 inches. That means the room needs at least 91 inches of clear depth for the bed itself, with additional space at the foot if guests need a comfortable walkway. Coffee tables and ottomans positioned in front of the sofa may need to move. When comparing sofa types for apartments, the 89-inch wall span and open-bed footprint matter more than the closed 38-inch depth alone.

What mattress is included with the Ashley Navi 9400439?

The Navi includes a bi-fold queen memory foam mattress measuring 60 inches wide, 72 inches long and 4 inches thick. It sits on a supportive steel frame, and Ashley specifies memory foam designed for improved airflow with damask ticking around the mattress. Those actual dimensions are useful when comparing a sofa and sleeper sofa, because a sleeper mattress does not always match the dimensions of a standard bedroom mattress.

Is the Navi 9400439 genuine leather, and how should the upholstery be treated?

No. Ashley identifies the Navi covering as faux leather, not genuine leather. Its warm Fossil finish is designed to create a leather-like appearance while using a polyester and polyurethane upholstery blend. Care should follow the upholstery instructions supplied with the sofa rather than genuine-leather cleaning methods or conditioners.

How does the Navi 9400439 balance everyday seating with guest sleeping?

During the day, the Navi provides 69 inches between the arms, a 22-inch seat depth and loose foam seat cushions wrapped in poly fiber. At night, the sleeper mechanism unfolds to a separate queen memory foam mattress, so the sleeping surface is independent of the everyday sofa cushions. That makes the piece useful where one room needs to handle normal seating most of the time and occasional overnight guests when needed.

VBU Fit & Function Analysis

Floor-space planning
The Navi needs 89" of wall width and measures 38" deep as a sofa. With the sleeper open, allow 91" from the outside back to the end of the bed, plus extra clearance at the foot if you want easy access.

Material and guest use
Faux leather gives the sofa a leather-like look, while overnight guests use a separate 60" × 72" × 4" queen memory foam mattress.
