Why choose the Ashley Carianna Queen Sofa Sleeper 5760439?
The Ashley Carianna 5760439 combines a substantial 101-inch frame with genuine top-grain leather on the main seating-contact areas and skillfully matched faux leather elsewhere. Classic roll arms, nailhead trim and decorative turned legs give the Caramel sofa a traditional character, while feather-fiber accent pillows soften the overall look. Its 77-inch seating width and 23-inch seat depth create generous everyday proportions, and a concealed bi-fold queen memory foam mattress unfolds over a supportive steel frame when overnight sleeping space is needed.

How much room does the Ashley Carianna 5760439 need when opened?

The Carianna measures 101 inches wide and 40 inches deep as a sofa. With the sleeper opened, the distance from the outside back of the sofa to the end of the bed is 93 inches. Use that 93-inch manufacturer measurement as the actual sleeper depth. If the area at the foot also serves as a circulation path, allow about 30–36 inches of walkway clearance beyond the bed, with about 36 inches preferred for a primary walkway. That extra clearance is for movement through the room rather than part of the sleeper itself.

Which parts of the Carianna 5760439 are genuine leather?

Ashley uses genuine top-grain leather on inside areas such as the back, seat and arm cushions—the surfaces that receive the most direct body contact. Matched faux leather covers the remaining areas. The Carianna is therefore best described as a leather-match sleeper sofa rather than an all-leather sofa.

Why can the leather on the Ashley Carianna 5760439 vary from one sofa to another?

Real top-grain leather is a natural material, so individual panels can show differences in grain and shade as well as characteristics such as growth marks or healed scars. Ashley identifies those variations as normal characteristics of genuine leather rather than flaws. That means the leather seating areas on two Carianna sofas may not look perfectly identical.

How does the Carianna 5760439 convert from everyday seating to guest sleeping?

During the day, the Carianna provides 77 inches of seating space between the arms with loose seat cushions and an attached back. For overnight use, a bi-fold queen memory foam mattress pulls out over a supportive steel frame, giving guests a dedicated sleeping surface rather than using the sofa cushions as the bed. That separate sleep system is one of the practical differences when comparing a sofa and sleeper sofa.

VBU Fit & Function Analysis

At 101" wide, the Carianna requires substantial wall space. In sleeper mode, it extends 93" from the outside back to the end of the bed.
