What sets the IFD Olimpia IFD7381CNS Console apart?
The Olimpia IFD7381CNS puts natural mango wood at the center of the design. Its 73-inch-wide case is finished in Towny Brown with a translucent multi-step lacquer that protects the wood while allowing the grain, knots and natural markings to remain visible. Six glass doors create a lighter, more open appearance than solid-front storage while keeping displayed pieces enclosed. With mortise-and-tenon construction and custom metal handles, the Olimpia is especially relevant for shoppers comparing mango wood consoles, natural wood storage furniture and large glass-door consoles.
What can be stored or displayed behind the six glass doors?
The Olimpia IFD7381CNS uses six glass-front doors to create enclosed storage while keeping the contents visible. That makes the console well suited to dinnerware, serving pieces, books, decorative objects or other items you want to organize without completely hiding them. Magnetic catches help keep the doors closed, while the broad 73-inch cabinet provides substantially more storage and display width than a narrow entry console. In a dining area, its enclosed cabinet format can also overlap functionally with a
sideboard, buffet or credenza
depending on how you plan to use the piece.
Will every Olimpia IFD7381CNS console have the same wood grain?
No. International Furniture Direct notes that the knots and markings visible on the mango wood are natural characteristics that give each piece its own identity. Because the Towny Brown lacquer is translucent rather than fully opaque, differences in grain pattern, knots and tonal variation can remain visible from one console to another. Those variations are part of the natural-wood appearance rather than defects or attempts to create a perfectly uniform surface.
What type of room suits the Olimpia IFD7381CNS?
At 73 inches wide and 17.75 inches deep, the Olimpia IFD7381CNS is best suited to a room with enough uninterrupted wall space for a long storage cabinet. Its relatively moderate depth helps keep the profile from extending as far into the room as a deeper case piece, while the 41.25-inch height gives the console useful visual presence. The six glass doors and natural mango finish can work especially well in dining rooms, living rooms or other spaces where both storage and display are important.
