Is the Ashley Top Tier 9270625 a good choice for someone who wants a wider recliner?
Yes. At 50 inches wide overall, the Top Tier is substantially broader than many standard recliners and is designed for shoppers who prefer a more spacious seating profile. Its 23-inch seat depth, attached cushioning and oversized scale make body fit especially important when comparing
seat comfort and fit
across larger recliners.
What is the upholstery like on the Top Tier 9270625?
The Top Tier uses 100% polyester upholstery with a soft corduroy texture that adds visible ribbing and a cozy feel. The neutral Alloy color keeps the oversized chair visually versatile, while the attached cushions and poly-fiber-wrapped foam reinforce its relaxed, casual character.
How much room does the Ashley Top Tier 9270625 need?
The Top Tier is 50 inches wide and extends to about 66 inches when fully reclined, with approximately 12 inches of wall clearance required behind it. Because the chair also rocks, buyers should allow open space around the sides as well as in front, making
chair spacing and layout
particularly important for this oversized model.
VBU Fit & Function Analysis
Body-fit profile: Oversized
The 50" overall width and 23" seat depth make the Top Tier better suited to shoppers who want a broader, more spacious recliner rather than a compact chair.
What to measure before buying
Plan for the 50" width, 66" fully reclined length, 12" wall clearance and a minimum 36" doorway along the delivery path.
