Why choose the Nectar Ultra Memory Foam Queen Mattress M12831CR?
The Nectar Ultra M12831CR is the tallest and softest-rated Nectar all-foam mattress in this assortment, offering an ultra-plush alternative to the medium-plush Luxe and medium-firm Premier. Its memory foam provides contouring cushioning, while comfort support foam and endurance support foam create the underlying structure without a spring core. This layered construction can help absorb some movement between sleeping partners, and the cooling quilted cover is designed to manage surface warmth. At 15 inches thick, Ultra sits one inch taller than Luxe and three inches taller than Classic on the same foundation, making bed height, deep-pocket sheets and headboard exposure important considerations. Its adjustable-base compatibility provides additional flexibility when planning the bedroom. Twin, Twin XL, Full, King and California King sizes are also offered with separate SKUs.

How soft is the Nectar Ultra Memory Foam Queen M12831CR compared with Nectar Luxe and Premier?

Nectar rates the Ultra M12831CR as ultra plush, compared with medium plush for Luxe M12731 and medium firm for Premier M12631. Its memory foam provides contouring cushioning, while comfort and endurance support foams supply underlying resistance. This makes Ultra an option for shoppers who deliberately prefer a softer-rated, all-foam mattress, although it does not guarantee a particular amount of sinkage. The distinction between mattress firmness and the cushioning felt at the sleeping surface matters more than thickness alone. Individual comfort depends on body weight, sleeping position and personal preference.

How do the cooling cover and memory foam work together in the Nectar Ultra Queen M12831CR?

The Nectar Ultra M12831CR combines a cooling quilted poly-blend cover with body-contouring memory foam. The cover is designed to help manage surface warmth, while the foam cushions the sleeper and can absorb some partner movement without a spring system. These features serve different purposes: the cover addresses temperature management, while the foam determines much of the cushioning response. Because latex and memory foam differ in responsiveness, airflow and heat retention, shoppers concerned about warmth should consider the entire mattress construction. Ultra contains manufacturer-listed memory foam, not latex. Cooling and motion isolation vary by sleeper.

How high will the 15-inch Nectar Ultra M12831CR sit, and can it use an adjustable bed?

The Nectar Ultra M12831CR is 15 inches thick and adjustable-base compatible. On a support surface 12 inches above the floor, its approximate mattress-top height would be 27 inches before compression. This is three inches higher than Nectar Classic on the same base. When planning how mattress thickness and foundation height affect bed access, also consider headboard visibility and Queen fitted-sheet pocket depth, allowing for any protector. A compatible foundation is sold separately. The 110-pound mattress requires careful handling when unpacking and may take up to 72 hours to expand after opening.
