Why choose the Ashley Bridgepoint Queen Sofa Sleeper PC6950739?
The Ashley Bridgepoint PC6950739 combines clean track arms and boxed back cushions with practical features for everyday use. Its 70 inches of seating space between the arms provides generous sofa seating, while removable seat cushions make routine fluffing and repositioning easier. Low-profile non-skid legs help reduce unwanted movement on the floor. When guests stay overnight, the sofa opens to a separate 60" × 72" memory foam mattress supported by the sleeper frame, keeping the sleeping surface distinct from the everyday seat cushions. Almond is the featured color, with Moss and Stone also available.

How much space does the Ashley Bridgepoint PC6950739 need when closed and open?

The Bridgepoint measures 85 inches wide and 38 inches deep when closed. With the sleeper opened, the distance from the outside back of the sofa to the end of the sleeper is 90 inches. Plan at least that much clear room depth for the bed itself, plus additional space at the foot if you want a comfortable walkway. Coffee tables, ottomans and other furniture in front of the sofa may need to move. When comparing sofa types for apartments, consider both the 85-inch wall requirement and the floor area needed when the queen sleeper is open.

What mattress comes with the Ashley Bridgepoint PC6950739?

The Bridgepoint includes a queen memory foam mattress measuring 60 inches wide, 72 inches long and 4 inches thick. It provides a separate sleeping surface rather than using the sofa cushions as the bed. The actual 60" × 72" dimensions are useful when comparing a sofa and sleeper sofa, because sleeper mattresses can differ from standard bedroom mattresses in size and thickness.

Are the Bridgepoint PC6950739 seat cushions removable and washable?

The seat cushions are removable, which makes them easier to fluff, rotate or reposition during routine care. Removable does not automatically mean machine washable, however. Cleaning should follow the upholstery care instructions supplied with the sofa rather than assuming the cushion covers can be placed in a washing machine.

What doorway width is needed to deliver the Ashley Bridgepoint PC6950739?

Ashley lists a minimum doorway width of 36 inches for delivery. Measure the clear opening with the door fully open, along with hallways, stairways, elevator openings and tight turns along the delivery route. Because the sofa is 85 inches wide, turning space and approach angle can matter as much as the doorway width itself.

VBU Fit & Function Analysis

Room fit
The Bridgepoint needs an 85" wall span and is 38" deep when closed. With the bed open, allow at least 90" from the outside back to the end of the sleeper, plus extra space at the foot if you want a usable walkway.

Sleeping and seating space
The sofa provides 70" between the arms for everyday seating, while overnight guests use a separate 60" × 72" × 4" queen memory foam mattress.

Fit and space guidance is based on manufacturer specifications and is provided for general shopping information. Room layouts, delivery access and individual comfort preferences vary.
