Why choose the Ashley Strawbill Power Lift Recliner 6390912?
The Ashley Strawbill 6390912 combines standing assistance with flexible reclining in a chair only 33 inches wide. Its dual motors let you adjust the back and footrest independently, so you can change leg elevation without having to move the back to the same position. A gentle lift-and-tilt function helps bring the seat upward when it is time to stand, while heat, massage and a side storage pocket add useful features for everyday lounging.
What do the dual motors on the Strawbill Power Lift Recliner do?
Separate motors control the back and footrest, allowing the Ashley Strawbill 6390912 to offer more positioning flexibility than a chair where both sections move together. The handheld control also operates the lift-and-tilt function, so reclining and standing assistance are managed from the same control. If you prefer water-repellent upholstery and a slightly wider 35-inch frame, compare the

How can the Ashley Strawbill 6390912 support aging in place?
The Ashley Strawbill 6390912 offers powered lift assistance to help older adults get up from their chair. Its lift-and-tilt mechanism gently raises the seat toward a standing position, while the 21-inch seat height provides a higher sitting position than low lounge seating. The 25-inch arms offer a place to rest your arms. With a generous 23-inch seat depth, shorter users should check that their feet reach the floor comfortably when seated upright. Is the Strawbill Power Lift Recliner suitable for a smaller room?
Its 33-inch width makes the Ashley Strawbill 6390912 relatively narrow for a power lift recliner, which can help when floor space is limited. The chair is 42 inches deep, however, and extends to about 72 inches when fully reclined. Ashley also specifies approximately 15 inches of wall clearance, so both the space behind the chair and the forward reclining area should be measured before placement.
