Why choose the Ashley Rosswain Lift-Top Coffee Table T763-9?
The Rosswain T763-9 takes a more architectural approach than many farmhouse-style lift-top tables. Its chunky geometry, glazed warm-brown finish and oak veneer create a substantial contemporary look, while the top adds practical flexibility for everyday living. When raised, the surface reaches 26.75 inches high and moves closer to the sofa, making it useful for an occasional meal, laptop session or paperwork. At 54.13 inches wide, it is better suited to a longer sofa or larger seating area than to a tight apartment layout.

What kind of room works best with the Ashley Rosswain T763-9?
With a 54.13" × 28.25" footprint, the Rosswain is a better fit for medium-to-large living rooms, longer sofas and broader seating arrangements than for very tight spaces. For normal placement, roughly 14–18 inches between the table and sofa is a useful starting point for reach and circulation, following our
coffee-table clearance and walkway guidance.
Once the top is lifted, total depth increases to 40.88 inches, so the forward movement of the surface should be included in the room plan. The broader sizing principles in our
coffee-table decision guide
can help when matching the table to your sofa and surrounding walkways.
How does the Rosswain T763-9 change when the top is raised?
In its normal position, the Rosswain stands 18 inches high. Lifting the top raises the working surface to 26.75 inches and brings it nearer the seated user, which can make occasional dining, laptop work or other sofa-based tasks more convenient. That shift in both height and reach is one of the practical advantages discussed when
comparing lift-top and standard coffee tables for everyday use.
How comfortable the raised position feels will depend on your sofa seat height, seat depth and placement.
Does the Ashley Rosswain T763-9 include storage?
No drawer, shelf, concealed bin or caster storage feature is listed for the Rosswain T763-9. Its main multifunctional benefit is the lift-top surface itself rather than built-in organization. That makes it a better fit for buyers who prioritize a clean architectural profile and occasional raised work or dining use over integrated storage.
