Why choose the Ashley Magic Man 5-Piece Power Reclining Sectional PCU10700S13?
The Ashley Magic Man PCU10700S13 creates a large 122-by-122-inch corner seating arrangement with three powered reclining positions rather than limiting motion to the two ends. Its five pieces include a left-arm-facing power recliner, stationary armless chair with a manual headrest, power armless recliner, wedge and right-arm-facing power recliner. The powered seats use one-touch controls, Easy View™ adjustable headrests, extended ottomans and zero-draw USB-A and USB-C charging. Caramel upholstery places 100% top-grain leather on the main body-contact areas—including the back, seat and arm cushions—with matched faux leather on the remaining surfaces. For shoppers who want storage between seats, the Magic Man is also offered in a larger 6-piece configuration (PCU10700S14) that adds a console with storage.

How large a room does the Ashley Magic Man PCU10700S13 need?
The Magic Man measures 122 inches in both directions, so its closed footprint is roughly 10 feet 2 inches by 10 feet 2 inches before accounting for reclining or walkways. A powered seat reaches 67 inches when fully reclined, and Ashley specifies 5.5 inches of space behind the recliner. That means an open reclining position needs about 72.5 inches—just over 6 feet—from the wall behind it to the front edge. If a main walking route passes in front of that position, another 30–36 inches of clear passage would increase the planning zone to roughly 102.5–108.5 inches. Those walkway figures are planning guidance rather than Ashley specifications. With a sectional this large,
checking both sectional runs, reclining zones and traffic paths
is essential before ordering.
Which seats recline on the Magic Man 5-Piece Sectional, and which seat stays stationary?
Three positions are powered: the left-arm-facing recliner, the armless power recliner and the right-arm-facing recliner. The separate armless chair remains stationary, and its headrest adjusts manually rather than by motor. The wedge forms the corner connection. That mix gives the sectional more reclining positions than a typical two-end-recliner layout while still retaining one conventional center seat. Because the pieces are modular, the
difference between modular seating and a fixed sectional
matters here: the component combination determines both seating function and the final shape.
What do the extended ottomans, headrests and leather-contact upholstery add to the Magic Man?
The extended ottomans increase the leg-support area when the powered seats are open, while the Easy View™ headrests let users change head angle separately from the main recline. On the stationary armless chair, the headrest is adjusted by hand, so not every position works the same way. The seat depth is 20.75 inches, which keeps the upright position more contained than extra-deep lounge seating before recline is engaged. Genuine top-grain leather covers the back, seat and arm cushions—the main contact areas—while matched faux leather is used on the remaining surfaces.
