Why choose the Ashley Lonoke Gunmetal Sofa 5050438?
The Ashley Lonoke Gunmetal 5050438 combines a substantial 90-inch width with a relatively moderate 38-inch depth, giving it a full-size presence without pushing especially far into the room. Plush Gunmetal polyester upholstery and softly shaped cushions create a relaxed contemporary look, while attached backs keep the upper profile orderly and loose seat cushions add flexibility for everyday use. A 20-inch seat height and 21-inch seat depth create a more contained sitting profile than extra-deep lounge sofas, and the 69-inch space between the arms gives the sofa a broad usable seating area. Two patterned accent pillows break up the dark neutral upholstery and add visual contrast.

How much wall and floor space does the Ashley Lonoke Sofa 5050438 need?
The Lonoke measures 90 inches wide, so 90 inches of clear wall space is the minimum needed for the sofa itself. For visual balance, a sofa often works well when it takes up roughly 60–75% of the usable wall; for the Lonoke, that suggests about 120–150 inches of wall space, with roughly 135 inches, or 11 feet 3 inches, close to the two-thirds proportion. These are room-planning guidelines rather than Ashley requirements. At 38 inches deep, the sofa leaves more front-to-back flexibility than many deeper models. If you place a coffee table in front, allowing about 14–18 inches between the sofa and table helps preserve practical reach and circulation. Our
guide to sofa size and wall proportion
explains how width and surrounding clearance work together in a living room.
What do the Lonoke's 20-inch seat height and 21-inch seat depth mean for everyday sitting?
The Lonoke's 21-inch seat depth gives you room to settle back without creating the long reach associated with extra-deep sofas, while the 20-inch seat height provides a useful reference point against seating you already find comfortable. The 69-inch distance between the arms defines the usable seating area, which is notably narrower than the sofa's 90-inch exterior width because some of that space is taken up by the arms. Our
sofa seat-depth guide
explains how depth affects upright sitting, back contact and lounging preferences.
Will the Ashley Lonoke Sofa 5050438 fit through a standard doorway?
Ashley lists a minimum doorway width of 36 inches for delivery of the Lonoke. Because door frames, hallways, turns and stair landings can further limit access, measure the narrowest point along the complete delivery route rather than checking only the final room doorway. The sofa itself is 38 inches deep and 40 inches high, so the path into the room is worth planning before delivery day. Our
furniture fit and delivery-route guide
can help with the measurements to check beforehand.
