Why choose the Ashley Lixtowel Recliner PC5300425?
The Ashley Lixtowel PC5300425 combines a tall padded back and generous 24-inch seating width with relatively moderate overall dimensions. Its 22-inch seat height and 21-inch seat depth create a taller, not overly deep seating profile, while pillowy cushioning and smooth faux leather add a relaxed feel. Pull-tab reclining and gentle rocking keep the operation traditional, and the reinforced frame with metal seat box adds structural support. A Fog color option is also available.

Who may prefer the body fit of the Lixtowel PC5300425?

The Lixtowel has a 22-inch seat height, 21-inch seat depth and 24 inches of space between the arms, creating a roomy but not unusually deep seating position. Those proportions may appeal to broader or taller shoppers, while individual leg length, posture and preferred seat comfort and fit remain important when comparing recliners.

What should older adults consider about the Ashley Lixtowel PC5300425?

The 22-inch seat height, 21-inch seat depth and 25-inch arm height provide useful measurements to compare with individual body size and mobility needs. Reclining is manually operated, and the rocker base moves rather than remaining fixed, so using the chair requires user effort and balance. This is not a lift chair and does not raise the user toward a standing position. Those details are relevant when comparing chair features that support easier sitting and standing .

Is the Lixtowel PC5300425 comfortable for reading or watching TV?

The tall padded back, pillowy cushioning and 21-inch seat depth create a supportive upright position for reading or television, while the pull-tab recline allows a more relaxed posture when desired. The 3-inch rear-clearance requirement also makes it easier to position the chair closer to a wall without giving up reclining function.

VBU Fit & Function Analysis

Body-fit profile: Roomy and moderately deep
The 24" seating width, 22" seat height and 21" seat depth provide a spacious seating area without the very deep profile found on some oversized recliners.

Older-adult considerations
These dimensions may be useful for individual fit comparisons, but the pull-tab mechanism and moving rocker base require user effort and balance. It is not a lift chair and provides no standing assistance.

Room planning
Allow for the 38" width, 66" fully reclined length, 3" rear clearance and a minimum 32" doorway along the delivery route.

Fit guidance is based on manufacturer specifications and is provided for general shopping information. Individual comfort, mobility, balance and fit vary.
