Why choose the Ashley Castille Way Sleeper Sectional with Chaise PC62703S5?
The Ashley Castille Way PC62703S5 combines a large chaise sectional with a queen guest bed and a distinctive two-tone brown faux leather look. Contrasting rich brown hues add dimension without introducing a separate accent color, while the low-profile legs keep the 122-inch frame visually grounded. The left side contains the queen sofa chaise sleeper, and the right side extends into an 86-inch corner chaise for everyday lounging. High-quality foam cushions wrapped in poly fiber handle daily seating, while a separate bi-fold memory foam mattress unfolds over a supportive steel sleeper frame for overnight guests.

How much room does the Castille Way PC62703S5 need with the sleeper open?
The sectional already occupies a 122-inch-wide by 86-inch-deep footprint before the bed is opened because the chaise remains extended during everyday use. With the queen sleeper deployed, the distance from the outside back of the sleeper section to the end of the bed is 92 inches. Use that 92-inch figure as the actual sleeper depth. If the area at the foot also functions as a walkway, allow about
30–36 inches of walkway clearance
beyond the opened bed, with about 36 inches preferred for a primary circulation path.
That means a room depth of about 122–128 inches from the outside back of the sleeper if a 30–36 inch walkway is also required at the foot.
Which side is the chaise on for Castille Way PC62703S5?
PC62703S5 combines a left-arm-facing queen sofa chaise sleeper with a right-arm-facing corner chaise. When you stand in front of the sectional and face it, the chaise is on your right and the sleeper section is on your left. The sleeper component measures 85" W × 64" D, while the chaise component measures 37" W × 86" D.
What is the Castille Way PC62703S5 like for everyday sitting and overnight sleeping?
For everyday use, the Castille Way combines attached back cushions with loose seat cushions made from high-quality foam wrapped in poly fiber, while the chaise provides extended leg support for lounging. For overnight guests, the sleeper opens to a separate bi-fold queen memory foam mattress on a steel frame. Ashley states that the memory foam is designed for better airflow and is encased in damask ticking, so the guest bed has its own dedicated sleep surface rather than relying on the sectional cushions.
Is the Castille Way PC62703S5 genuine leather?
No. Ashley identifies the upholstery as faux leather. The contrasting brown tones create a leather-like monochromatic appearance, but the covering is made from polyester and polyurethane rather than natural leather. Upholstery care should therefore follow the product instructions for the synthetic covering rather than genuine-leather conditioners or treatments.
How does a sleeper sectional differ from a standard sleeper sofa?
The Castille Way adds permanent chaise lounging to the guest-bed function. Unlike a conventional sleeper sofa, its 86-inch chaise remains extended even when the mattress is stored, so it uses substantially more floor space during normal daily use. That added lounging area is the main tradeoff to consider when comparing a
sofa and sleeper sofa
configuration for a multipurpose room.
VBU Fit & Function Analysis
Permanent footprint
At 122" W × 86" D, the Castille Way requires a large dedicated sectional area before the sleeper is opened. The bed reaches 92" from the outside back when deployed.
Comfort and guest use
Foam-and-poly-fiber seat cushions support everyday lounging, while the chaise adds extended leg support. Overnight guests use a separate queen memory foam mattress over a steel frame.
