Why choose the Ashley Cleo Pier Power AutoGlide Recliner PC2150442?
The Ashley Cleo Pier PC2150442 stands apart from a standard power recliner by combining one-touch power reclining with a three-speed power gliding function. You can select slow, medium or fast gliding depending on how much movement you prefer. The Chai-colored Next-Gen Nuvellaâ„¢ performance fabric is designed to be soft, durable, stain-resistant and easy to clean, while a loose lumbar pillow adds another layer of support. USB-A and USB-C charging ports are built into the power control, making the Cleo Pier especially useful for relaxing, reading or charging a phone or tablet without leaving the chair.

Is the Ashley Cleo Pier PC2150442 a good recliner for older adults?
The Ashley Cleo Pier PC2150442 may be a good choice for mobile older adults who value one-touch power reclining and gentle gliding motion. Its 21-inch seat height can make sitting and standing easier for some users, while the supportive arms and lumbar pillow add comfort. However, the 23-inch seat depth may feel deep for shorter users, and the AutoGlide base moves rather than remaining stationary. It is therefore better suited to older adults with good balance and mobility than to shoppers who need maximum stability or lift assistance. Seat height, seat depth, supportive arms and base stability are important when
choosing living room chairs for seniors
.
How does the 3-speed AutoGlide feature work on the Cleo Pier PC2150442?
The Cleo Pier uses a powered gliding system with three selectable speeds: slow, medium and fast. This lets you adjust the amount of gentle back-and-forth movement without manually rocking the chair. The gliding function is separate from the chair's power reclining capability, so the PC2150442 is designed for shoppers who want both powered relaxation and rhythmic motion in one seat. Because the base moves, allow unobstructed space around the recliner rather than positioning it where nearby furniture could interfere with its motion.
Is Next-Gen Nuvellaâ„¢ upholstery easy to maintain?
Yes. Ashley describes Next-Gen Nuvellaâ„¢ as a soft performance fabric designed for durability, stain resistance and easier everyday cleaning. For routine care, the manufacturer recommends mild soap and water followed by air drying. This makes the Cleo Pier PC2150442 particularly practical for frequently used living rooms where spills and everyday wear are important considerations.
