Why Choose Benchmaster Joy Flip-Up Footrest Recliner (7860)?

The Benchmaster Joy Flip-Up Footrest Recliner (7860 / 7971) is a streamlined leather recliner that keeps its lines clean without giving up comfort. Top grain leather with a vinyl match covers the padded seat and back, a headrest stays tucked out of view until you raise it, and the 50 Silver wood finish adds a light, polished touch.

Work the handle and the Joy opens to 155 degrees, with a flip-up footrest rising from the chair and a swivel base that turns a full 360 degrees. The same handle holds the chair where you leave it, and high-density foam and a sturdy steel-tube frame back up every position.

▼Product Details

Integrated Flip-Up Footrest: One handle controls the footrest, which swings up when you want your feet raised and stows away when you don't.

155-Degree Manual Reclining: The backrest opens to 155 degrees under your own control, with no motor or outlet involved, a good fit for a long novel or a quiet half hour with your eyes closed.

360-Degree Swivel Movement: Rotating the seat through a full circle lets you turn from the doorway to the window and back while the chair stays on its footprint.

Hidden Adjustable Headrest: A concealed headrest slides to different positions, letting whoever is sitting there set the support level they like.

Position-Lock Mechanism: The handle both frees the recline and holds it at your chosen angle, and it works without getting up.

Supportive Construction: Under the leather, 1.8 high-density foam pads the seat and back, a powder-coated steel-tube frame supplies rigidity, and a laminated wood base completes the build.

▼VBU Fit & Function Analysis

Best Placement: A natural pick for an apartment living area, a home-office reading spot, or a bedroom sitting corner with space to rotate.
Reclining Clearance: Fully extended, the Joy is about 66.9 inches deep. Allow that distance from the back of the chair to anything in its path.
Space-Conscious Footrest: With the footrest stowed, the chair holds to a 34.6-inch depth, leaving extra floor room until you decide to put your feet up.
Flexible Orientation: Because the seat rotates in place, one chair can face the sofa for conversation, then the TV, then the hallway, with no scraping along the floor.
Personalized Comfort: Comfort is adjustable in two ways: the concealed headrest changes how your head is supported, and the handle-locked recline changes how far back you sit.
Interior Coordination: Grey suits cooler, modern palettes, and Cinnamon adds an earthy brown tone; the Silver wood finish links either one to metal accents and pale furnishings.
