What makes the Ashley Draycoll Power Recliner 7650498 practical for everyday use?
The Ashley Draycoll 7650498 combines push-button reclining with gentle rocking, so you can switch from upright motion to a relaxed position without pulling a manual handle. Soft Slate chenille gives the chair a textured fabric feel, while thickly cushioned arms add support for longer periods of sitting. The built-in USB port also keeps a compatible device close while charging.

How does the Draycoll power recliner work?

One-touch power controls let you adjust the reclining position electronically, while the rocker base provides gentle motion when the chair is upright. Ashley also includes a zero-draw USB port that only draws power when the receptacle is being used. Shoppers comparing another power recliner can also consider the Ashley Observation Power Recliner .

Why might the Ashley Draycoll 7650498 appeal to older adults?

The power control avoids the pulling motion required by a manual recliner handle, which can make repositioning easier for some older adults. Its 19.25-inch seat height keeps the seat from being especially low, while the 26-inch arm height gives users a supportive surface beside the seat. The 20.75-inch seat depth also provides useful thigh support without being unusually deep. The Ashley Draycoll Power Recliner 7650498 is not a lift chair, so it does not raise the user toward standing. For more guidance on dimensions and support, see our guide to choosing chairs for older adults .

How far should the Draycoll Power Recliner sit from the wall?

Ashley lists 12 inches of clearance between the recliner and the wall. The Ashley Draycoll 7650498 measures 42 inches wide and 40 inches deep and reaches about 66 inches when fully reclined, so both the rear clearance and forward reclining space should be included when planning the room.
