Why choose the Ashley Wildenauer 76" TV Stand W664-68?
The Ashley Wildenauer W664-68 gives a larger television a broad media base while keeping the cabinet depth to 18 inches. Its storage is divided into two glass-door side cabinets and an open center section, with adjustable shelving in all three areas so electronics, games and décor do not have to share one fixed-height compartment. One useful detail is the difference between shelf width and door access: the side shelves are 22.25 inches wide, but items must pass through an 18.25-inch-wide door opening, so the opening—not the shelf—is the limiting measurement for larger equipment or storage boxes. Hardwood solids, mango wood veneer and MDF substrates are finished with a warm satin-black base and rich brown butcher-block-pattern top for a two-tone farmhouse look. The center shelf can also be removed for a compatible W100-101 or W100-02 electric fireplace insert, sold separately, allowing the same console to remain storage-focused or become a fireplace TV stand.

What size TV works best with the Ashley Wildenauer W664-68 76" TV stand?

A 65- to 75-inch TV is a strong proportional range for the 75.63-inch-wide Wildenauer, with a 75-inch TV giving the stand a particularly balanced large-screen look. A typical 75-inch 16:9 screen is about 65.4 inches wide, leaving roughly 5.1 inches of console visible on each side. A 65-inch TV is about 56.7 inches wide and leaves approximately 9.5 inches per side, creating a more generous frame around the screen. An 85-inch TV is about 74.1 inches wide, leaving less than 1 inch on each side, so it would be an extremely tight visual fit even if the television's feet fit on the top. VBU Furniture's TV width and TV stand size calculator can help convert screen diagonal into approximate TV width before ordering. Always verify the exact television's total width, foot or pedestal span and weight because those measurements vary by model.

Will my game console, receiver or storage box fit inside the Wildenauer W664-68?

Measure the opening before relying on the shelf dimensions. Each side shelf is 22.25 inches wide and 14.5 inches deep, but an item must first pass through an 18.25-inch-wide by 15.38-inch-deep door opening. That means a 20-inch-wide component could physically fit on the shelf yet still be too wide to insert through the front door opening. The center compartment is less restrictive, with a 23-inch-wide by 17.25-inch-deep opening and an adjustable 26.5-inch-wide shelf behind it. For powered electronics, leave additional room for plugs, cable bends and airflow rather than filling the full measured depth. This is why equipment clearance, ventilation and cable space inside a TV stand should be considered along with the raw shelf dimensions.

What changes if I add a fireplace insert to the Ashley Wildenauer W664-68?

In its standard configuration, the 23-inch-wide center section provides open media storage with an adjustable shelf. To add a compatible W100-101 or W100-02 electric fireplace insert, that center shelf is removed and the fireplace takes over the middle compartment. The two glass-door side cabinets remain available, so the practical decision is whether you prefer a third equipment-storage zone or the fireplace feature. Because the insert is sold separately, you can make that choice independently of the TV stand purchase. The trade-off between a fireplace TV stand and a storage-focused media console is particularly clear on the Wildenauer because only the center section changes function.
