Why choose the Ashley Lango Queen Sofa Chaise Sleeper 4860268?
The Ashley Lango 4860268 combines three functions in one piece: everyday sofa seating, an extended chaise lounging area and a concealed queen guest bed. Jute Next-Gen Nuvella™ performance fabric is designed to be soft, stain-resistant, durable and easier to clean, while reversible seat and back cushions give owners more flexibility for routine upkeep. The sofa offers 77 inches between the arms, and a bi-fold 60" × 72" memory foam mattress opens over a supportive steel frame when sleeping space is needed. Its neutral Jute upholstery and gently flared arms keep the larger chaise-sleeper footprint visually understated.

How much room does the Ashley Lango 4860268 need with the chaise and sleeper open?
The Lango already occupies a substantial 91" W × 62" D footprint before the bed is opened because of the chaise. With the queen sleeper deployed, the distance from the outside back to the end of the sleeper is 92 inches. Use that 92-inch manufacturer measurement as the minimum open-bed depth. If the area beyond the foot of the sleeper also serves as a circulation path, allow about
30–36 inches of walkway clearance,
with about 36 inches preferred for a primary walkway. The chaise also needs to be included when checking side-to-side traffic and nearby furniture placement.
Which Lango 4860268 cushion covers can be machine washed?
Ashley specifies easy-to-remove zippered covers for machine washing on the Lango and also identifies the seat and back cushions as reversible. For routine surface cleaning, the published care guidance calls for mild soap and water followed by air drying; a diluted bleach solution is listed for stubborn stains. Follow the product care instructions for the specific cover being cleaned rather than assuming every upholstered component should be removed or machine washed.
What mattress is built into the Ashley Lango 4860268?
The pull-out bed uses a bi-fold queen memory foam mattress measuring 60 inches wide, 72 inches long and 4 inches thick. It rests on a supportive steel frame, and Ashley describes the memory foam as promoting better airflow with damask ticking around the mattress. This dedicated guest surface is separate from the sofa cushions, which is an important functional difference when comparing a
sofa and sleeper sofa.
What should you consider before placing the Lango sofa chaise sleeper in a room?
Start with the chaise footprint rather than treating the Lango like a conventional 40-inch-deep sofa. It reaches 62 inches into the room even when the bed is closed, so check door swings, coffee-table placement and circulation beside the chaise. The sofa is also 91 inches wide and requires a listed 32-inch minimum doorway for delivery. Hallways, elevators, stair landings and turning space should be checked separately. The exact sleeper product information does not specify that the chaise can be moved from one side to the other, so room planning should follow the configuration shown for this model.
VBU Fit & Function Analysis
Chaise footprint
At 91" wide × 62" deep, the Lango uses considerably more floor depth than a standard sofa even before the sleeper opens. The queen bed extends 92" from the outside back when deployed.
Easy-care function
Next-Gen Nuvella performance fabric, reversible cushions and removable zippered covers support everyday upkeep, while guests sleep on a separate 60" × 72" × 4" memory foam mattress.
