Why choose the Ashley Dorney Accent Chair A3000799?
The contrast between angular solid wood arms and softly textured bouclé upholstery gives the Ashley Dorney A3000799 its distinctive character. Its warm brown wood finish adds a natural element, while charcoal-and-brown polyester bouclé introduces a darker, richly textured seating surface. Rather than the fully upholstered arms found on many lounge chairs, Dorney's exposed wood construction creates a more open silhouette that works well with contemporary, rustic or casual living room furniture. At 30.75 inches wide, it provides an individual seating option without requiring the floor width of an oversized accent chair. The 22-inch seat depth accommodates relaxed everyday sitting, while the 17-inch seat height places the sitter lower than many standard-height chairs—a difference worth considering when comparing personal comfort and ease of standing. With 26.38 inches between the arms, there is a useful amount of individual seating width. Attached seat and back cushions maintain their position, creating a neat appearance without requiring regular cushion rearrangement. Dorney works particularly well beside a sofa, near a bookshelf or as a contrasting chair in a conversation area. Its combination of solid wood arms, warm and dark tones, and bouclé fabric is especially appealing to shoppers who want an accent chair to contribute visual character as well as functional seating.
