Why choose the Ashley Rayne-Cove Queen Sofa Sleeper PC2600539?
The Ashley Rayne-Cove PC2600539 stands apart through its seating construction as much as its sleeper function. Reversible cushions use a structural foam core wrapped in a feather-blend cover, while multicolored chenille upholstery with bouclé details adds visible texture and a softer, more layered look. The sofa offers 77 inches of seating space between the arms, and square accent legs give the frame a cleaner contemporary base. For overnight guests, a separate 60" × 72" memory foam mattress folds out over a supportive metal frame.

How much room does the Ashley Rayne-Cove PC2600539 need when the bed is opened?

As a sofa, the Rayne-Cove measures 90 inches wide and 40 inches deep. With the queen sleeper opened, the distance from the outside back of the sofa to the end of the bed is 92 inches. That 92-inch figure is the manufacturer’s open-sleeper depth and should be the starting point for room planning. If the area at the foot of the sleeper also functions as a walkway, allow about 30–36 inches of walkway clearance beyond the bed, with about 36 inches preferred for a primary circulation path. Coffee tables or ottomans in front of the sofa may need to move when guests use the sleeper.

What is different about the Rayne-Cove PC2600539 seat cushions?

The reversible seat cushions use a structural foam core wrapped in a feather-blend cover rather than a simple foam-and-poly-fiber construction. Ashley describes the result as a softer, sink-in seating feel. Because the cushions are reversible, they can be flipped, fluffed and repositioned periodically to help refresh their shape and distribute everyday wear. Reversible does not mean machine washable, so upholstery cleaning should still follow the care instructions supplied with the sofa. :chatgpt-content-reference{index="2"}

What mattress comes with the Ashley Rayne-Cove PC2600539?

The Rayne-Cove includes a bi-fold queen memory foam mattress measuring 60 inches wide, 72 inches long and 4 inches thick. It sits on a supportive metal sleeper frame, separate from the everyday seat cushions. Ashley states that the memory foam is designed for better airflow and is encased in damask ticking. That separate sleeping system is an important distinction when comparing a sofa and sleeper sofa, since the overnight surface and the daytime seating use different constructions. :chatgpt-content-reference{index="3"}

Is the Rayne-Cove PC2600539 practical for a living room that also hosts guests?

It can work well when the room has enough width for the 90-inch sofa and a clear zone in front for the 92-inch open sleeper depth. The 77-inch seating width makes it useful as a substantial everyday sofa, while the concealed queen mattress adds overnight functionality without requiring a separate guest bed. In tighter rooms, the main question is whether the area in front of the sofa can be cleared without interrupting an important circulation route.

VBU Fit & Function Analysis

Space requirement
The Rayne-Cove uses 90" of wall width and 40" of depth as a sofa. Opened for sleeping, it extends 92" from the outside back to the end of the bed; add circulation space at the foot only if that area also needs to function as a walkway.

Comfort construction
Reversible feather-blend-wrapped seat cushions handle everyday lounging, while guests sleep on a separate 60" × 72" × 4" queen memory foam mattress.
