Why choose the IFD Mezquite Chairside Table IFD6621CST?
Wood character takes center stage on the IFD Mezquite IFD6621CST. Its sustainable mango wood and translucent multi-step finish allow natural grain and knots to remain visible, so each table can show its own variation rather than looking uniformly manufactured. The 19.5-inch footprint gives it more presence than a narrow chairside table, while the lightly distressed brown finish and clean proportions make it a distinctive accent beside a sofa or chair.
Why does the wood grain vary from one Mezquite chairside table to another?
Natural variation is part of the design of the IFD6621CST. IFD notes that knots on the wood surface are natural markings that give individual pieces of lumber their own identity. The translucent finish also allows the underlying grain to remain visible rather than covering it with an opaque surface. As a result, grain direction, knots and tonal variation can differ from table to table.
How does the Mezquite Chairside Table pair with a sofa or accent chair?
With a 24.25-inch height and a 19.5-inch by 19.5-inch footprint, the Mezquite table provides a substantial side surface beside seating without being oversized like a larger end table. It is best suited to spaces where there is enough room for a broader chairside footprint rather than an ultra-narrow table. Compare its height with your sofa or chair arm and review our

What kind of interior works with the Mezquite Brown finish?
The Mezquite Brown finish works especially well where natural wood grain is intended to be visible rather than hidden. Its light distressing gives the surface a relaxed character, while IFD classifies the table's style as modern. That combination lets it bridge warm natural materials and cleaner contemporary furniture. Before deciding on placement, use our
