Why choose the Ashley Feddinger 7-Drawer Dresser PCB779-31?
The Ashley Feddinger PCB779-31 makes everyday bedroom organization easier by combining four wide clothing drawers, three smaller accessory drawers and a hidden felt-lined pull-out tray. The concealed tray provides a discreet place for jewelry, watches and personal belongings without cluttering the dresser top, while the larger lower drawers accommodate separate stacks of folded shirts, jeans and sweaters. At 18 inches deep, Feddinger helps preserve walking space compared with deeper dressers, provided sufficient wall width and drawer-opening clearance are available. Its warm chestnut brown finish, aged pewter-tone knobs and classic bun feet complement traditional and relaxed farmhouse bedrooms. English dovetail joints reinforce drawer corners, while heavy-duty ball-bearing side glides support smooth everyday access. For shoppers seeking organized clothing storage with a separate place for smaller accessories, Feddinger combines practical functionality with timeless wood-tone styling.

What is the hidden storage tray in the Ashley Feddinger PCB779-31, and what can it hold?

Behind the top middle drawer, the Feddinger PCB779-31 has a concealed felt-lined tray measuring 17" W × 11.13" D × 1.13" H. Its shallow design helps keep watches, jewelry, keys and other small accessories separated rather than stacked together. Because the tray is tucked behind the drawer, these items remain discreetly out of sight without occupying the dresser top. The compartment is intended for organization, not secure or lockable storage. For a broader comparison, explore how drawer storage can complement a wardrobe or closet.

How do the seven Feddinger dresser drawers help separate clothing and everyday essentials?

The Ashley Feddinger PCB779-31 offers four wider lower drawers, each measuring 26.75" W × 13" D × 7.5" H inside, suitable for organizing folded jeans, shirts and sweaters in separate stacks. Three smaller upper drawers help keep socks, accessories and frequently used belongings within easy reach. The top compartments have felt-lined interiors, while all seven drawers feature finished interiors, English dovetail joints and heavy-duty ball-bearing side glides for reinforced construction and smooth movement. This combination is useful when comparing the organization benefits of a wide dresser versus a taller chest.

How much bedroom space does the Feddinger PCB779-31 require, and what furniture matches its chestnut finish?

Measuring 65.38" W × 18" D × 40" H, the Feddinger provides substantial clothing storage while projecting only 18 inches from the wall. A wall section approximately 73–77 inches wide would leave 4–6 inches of spacing on each side, although additional clearance is needed in front to open drawers comfortably. Its chestnut brown finish and aged pewter-tone knobs complement cream bedding, neutral upholstery and both lighter and darker wood accents. The dresser combines poplar solids, pine veneer and MDF rather than being entirely solid wood. For coordinating the room, see how to balance wood finishes and dresser proportions with other bedroom furniture. Follow the manufacturer's anti-tip anchoring instructions.
