Why choose the Ashley Tulen Recliner, SKU 9860625?
The Ashley Tulen Recliner 9860625 combines soft chenille upholstery with a waterfall-style back, thick pillow-top arms and simple pull-tab reclining. Gentle rocking and generously padded cushioning give it the plush, relaxed feel many shoppers want from an everyday manual recliner.
How does the Tulen recline and rock?
A pull-tab mechanism operates the manual recline, while the rocker base provides gentle motion when the chair is upright. The reinforced frame and metal seat box add stability beneath the foam cushions wrapped in poly fiber. Shoppers who want a narrower contemporary rocker can compare the

What should older adults consider about the Ashley Tulen Recliner 9860625?
The Ashley 9860625 has a 19-inch seat height and 22-inch seat depth. Older adults who prefer a higher seat may want to compare other options, and the 17-inch space between the arms may feel narrow for some shoppers. Its manual pull-tab mechanism is also worth trying if hand or arm strength is a concern. For more guidance on seat fit and ease of use, read our
guide to choosing living room chairs for older adults.
How much space does the Ashley Tulen Recliner need?
The Ashley Tulen Recliner 9860625 measures 39 inches wide and 40 inches deep, reaching about 65 inches when fully reclined. It needs roughly 12 inches of clearance behind the chair, so it is better suited to a standard living-room placement than a tight wall-hugging setup.
