Why choose the Ashley Gaelon Dune Sofa 3730738?
The Ashley Gaelon Dune 3730738 blends traditional details with proportions that work comfortably in a transitional living room. Decorative nailhead trim, rounded arms and bun legs give the 87-inch sofa more character than a minimalist design, while the Dune polyester upholstery has a subtle herringbone effect that adds texture without dominating the room. A 23-inch seat depth provides extra room to settle back, and the 72-inch space between the arms creates a generous usable seating area. The 19-inch seat height gives the Gaelon a slightly lower profile, while loose foam seat cushions and attached back cushions balance a relaxed seating feel with an orderly silhouette. Two patterned accent pillows complete the layered, traditional-contemporary look.

How much wall and floor space does the Ashley Gaelon Sofa 3730738 need?
The Gaelon is 87 inches wide, so you need at least 87 inches of clear wall space for the sofa itself. For visual balance, a sofa often works well when it occupies roughly 60–75% of the usable wall; for the Gaelon, that suggests about 116–145 inches of wall width. A wall around 130–131 inches, or about 10 feet 11 inches, places the sofa close to the two-thirds proportion. These are room-planning guidelines rather than Ashley requirements. Its 41-inch depth also deserves attention when arranging the seating area. If a coffee table sits in front, about 14–18 inches between the sofa and table is a useful planning range. Our
sofa placement and wall-proportion guide
explains how a stationary sofa can anchor the surrounding furniture. For delivery, the listed minimum doorway width is 32 inches.
What do the Gaelon's 23-inch seat depth and 19-inch seat height mean for sitting and lounging?
The Gaelon's 23-inch seat depth provides more room to settle back than a shallower 20- or 21-inch seat, making it suitable for relaxed sitting without reaching the proportions of an extra-deep lounging sofa. Its 19-inch seat height places the seating surface somewhat lower than sofas with 20- to 22-inch seats, so it is worth comparing that measurement with furniture you already enjoy. With 72 inches between the arms, there is also substantial usable seating width. Our

What design features distinguish the Ashley Gaelon Dune Sofa 3730738?
The Gaelon combines Dune polyester upholstery with a subtle herringbone effect, decorative nailhead trim and rounded bun legs. Rolled arms add a traditional note, while the cleaner cushion shapes keep the sofa from feeling overly formal. Attached back cushions hold the upper silhouette in place, and loose seat cushions allow the seating surface to be repositioned during everyday use. Two coordinating patterned pillows add another layer of texture and help bridge traditional and contemporary furnishings.
